Cave of Thrones Season 6 Finale - ALL MEN MUST DIE! (Part 2)

Welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!" Obviously, there was a shitload to talk about in this episode, since the guys have already gone on twice as long as the episode actually was, and they're not done yet. It's not hyperbole that you should probably strap in for this episode.

In this episode, CraigMakk digs deep into the psyche of one of his TV show heroes, a man who also threw a child from a window to protect his incestuous relationship with his sister (way to pick 'em, Makk); Jest explains why it's completely normal not to question your sister about why she conveniently forgot to mention that she called the cavalry (weren't you in the Marines, Jest??); and both guys discuss at length why GRRM is pretty much like Alec Baldwin telling a story during a camping trip. Oh, and the beer flows pretty openly in this one, so try to keep up. Strap in, grab a beer, and welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!"

Beers of the Show:

Ommegang Take the Black Stout, which makes a repeat appearance as a very special gift from a loving cohost;

and Lagunitas CitruSinensis Blood Orange Pale Ale, because the hoppy burst will help you handle all the blood that will inevitably flow during this episode.

BONUS SHOTS:

Here are a couple pics of the Ommegang Game of Thrones Gift Pack that CraigMakk got for Serious Jest for Christmas, standing right next to the awesome Breaking Bad lamp that Jest gave Makk! Aren't they just the most adorable co-hosts?? Enjoy!

Cave of Thrones Season 6 Finale - ALL MEN MUST DIE! (Part 1)

Welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!" Just know that the ManCave is here to help you deal with the inevitable depression that settles in until next year when GoT returns. SPOILER ALERT: it'll require lots of alcohol.

With the finale of Season 6 now in the rear view mirror, the guys are here to help you express your feelings about all the death, destruction, and sometimes even some kickass murdering going on. In this part one of the full recap, CraigMakk shares some of his fears of working with an absolute murderous lunatic; Serious Jest introduces you to his brand new family sigil and catchphrase; and they both think that getting one pretty simple prediction correct means that they are always right. But we know better, don't we? Oh, and they'll drink a lot of alcohol as well...but of COURSE they do.

So strap in, grab yourself a beer, and get ready for the big season finale of "Cave of Thrones!" And all hail His Grace, Tommen of Houses Baratheon and Lannister, First of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and...wait, what happened??

Damn, that family sure is cursed.

Drinks of the Show: some kind of Puerto Rican rum (because why not?), and Dogfish Head Beer to Drink Music To, a strong-ass Belgian-style tripel that will have you enjoying the GoT theme song even more than you thought you would.

Cave of Thrones Season 6, Episode 9 - Two Bastards Walk Into the North...

Welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!" I'm sure you've heard the old joke before, "Two Bastards walk into the North, and one gets eaten by his pack of wild dogs." Oh, my bad, should we have said SPOILER ALERT? What can we say, we're a couple of bastards.

In this semi-regular edition of "Cave of Thrones!!!", the guys break down the magnificent BastardBowl episode to give you the very best analysis they possibly can in a timely fashion while drinking. CraigMakk will blow your mind with his deep understanding of advanced battle tactics such as how to poke people to death with pointy sticks; Serious Jest gets an opportunity to explain why GoT is basically just shamelessly ripping off Tyler Durden; and you'll even get to hear a little LeBron bashing for your troubles. Oh, and of course they have some alcohol to make the conversation fly by with maximum cursing, So strap in, grab a beer, and get ready to listen to two real bastards talk about your favorite show in "Cave of Thrones!!!"

Episode 23 Part Three - The Madness Ends!

Welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!" You're probably thinking, "Oh My God, does this episode EVER end?!" Yes....yes it does. You don't have to be rude about it.

In the moment you've all been waiting for, Serious Jest and CraigMakk finally complete their epic battle of Superhero Madness, but not before going full-on nerd and discussing who would win in a battle of elves versus werewolves. Oh, and they also get cursed to die horrible deaths by a vengeful. horrible witch spirit...you should probably just listen.

In this episode, CraigMakk explains why penis is WAY scarier than spiders; Jest uncovers why he feels compelled to shout horrible things at children over the Internet; and they both drink quite a bit while interviewing a much smarter and more well-spoken guest than the two of them put together. So sit back, grab a beer, and welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: Eventually they'll finally run out of that Game of Thrones Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale....but today is not that day.

Cave of Thrones Season 6, Episode 5- Hold the GODDAMN Door

Welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!" We loved it so much the first time, we decided to do another special GoT episode. And this time, we convinced CraigMakk to let it out the door without any editing. So don't blame him if you hate it.

This episode was a total mindfuck, so CraigMakk & Serious Jest needed to talk it out. There may or may not have been tears involved...you'll just need to listen for yourself. After the revelation of Hodor's tragic backstory, the half-Navy Seal baller status and half-small town hall meeting status of the Kinsmoot, and the full (for now) extent of Bran's power, you'll probably need a drink too. So come for the recap, stay for the insight, and run from the insanity of Live from the ManCave's newest "Cave of Thrones" special edition!

Beer of the Show: Ellicottville Brewing's Chocolate Cherry Bomb Imperial Stout, because only a powerful beer can help you handle feelings.

Cave of Thrones Special Edition: Back in BLACK

Welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!" In this very special edition, the fellas celebrate the most amazing invention of all time: the Internet. And they don't even talk about porn....much.

For the very first time, CraigMakk & Serious Jest utilize the Internet to do a satellite LftMC to discuss and full-spoiler review Game of Thrones, Season 6 Episode 2 moments after it ended. And in an effort to complicate matters even further, they also bring on their first ever remote third mic, "Black" Pedro Hernandez from the world-famous podcast "Black & White with You and Me." Some shit goes down, and we're not just talking about the beer.

As usual, CraigMakk will explain why it's okay to enjoy watching a naked man lay on a table for the better part of an hour; Jest will compare the cast of GoT to our beloved president (Sorry, Obama! He's Peruvian, he can't help it!); and newcomer Black Pedro blows them all away with his discussion about White Walkers and climate change. Trust me...it's as epic as it is insane. So sit back, grab a beer, and welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!"

Beer of the Show: Since it was remote, we each chose our own:

CraigMakk: Broken Goblet's Carle the Great Russian Imperial Stout (aged in Glenfiddich Scotch Barrels), a strong and powerful stout fit only for a king...or a drunk.

Serious Jest: Sixpoint Brewery Resin, a powerful hoppy, citrusy, and piney brew, all channeled into one vessel, not unlike our favorite reanimated Westerosi.

Black Pedro: Golden Road Brewing Get Up Offa That Brown, a balanced and drinkable brown ale, one that will allow you to keep your head instead of losing it.

Episode 23 Part Two - The Madness Continues!

Welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!" Just when you thought it was safe to jump back into your brackets...the ManCave will ruin your eardrums with bad jokes and nerdy conversation! Be afraid...be very afraid. There's still a lot more noise where this episode came from.

In this episode, CraigMakk will desperately try to make his irrational love of Batman seem totally normal and acceptable; Jest will do his very best to convince you that he feels bad about mocking death while doing it nonetheless; and the fellas will argue about comic book characters as if they are actually real people waiting patiently by the phone to find out if they won instead of it all being a meaningless discussion between two nerds.

Get ready to enter into the cage match of Round Two in the Superhero/Villain Madness bracket, and not everyone will survive. Perhaps not even you. But the guys also dig deep into other topics such as the various forms of Walking Dead; money-grubbing NBA jerseys; the passing of both a musical icon/lover of all things purple and a terrifying wrestler/terrifying home video porn star; make uninformed and unwanted suggestions on who should play Young Han Solo; and much, much more. All while getting unnecessarily drunk in the middle of the night. And this is just part two. Imagine what the rest sounds like. Or better yet, don't, Trust me. So sit back, grab a drink, and welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: Still more Ommegang Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale, because why change now?

Episode 23 Part One - Superhero ManCave Madness!!!

Welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!": I hope you got a good night's sleep, because our hosts sure didn't. Seriously, they were punchy before they even hit record. Good luck.

In a change of pace, the fellas bring their knowledge of superheroes and movies/TV shows to the table, in a first ever ManCave Madness Bracket! Get ready to listen to the world's best Superheroes and Supervillains battle it out to the DEATH! Or at least just using strongly worded arguments.

During Live from the Theater, CraigMakk reviews Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (no spoilers), while Serious Jest reports on what he thought of CraigMakk's Deadpool recommendation (full spoilers). Boy, do they reallt like Superhero movies, huh? Nerds.

Also in this episode, Serious Jest explains why any superhero who is a former Marine is automatically the best; CraigMakk digs deep into why he wants his heroes with a heaping helping of emotional trauma; and they both argue over whether they are drunk or just plain tired as shit. All the while, they vow never to start recording at 4am ever again. Goddamn you, technology. So sit back, grab a beer, and welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!"

Beer of the Show: Ommegang's Game of Thrones Seven Kingdom's Hoppy Wheat Beer, a citrusy and wheaty ale that will definitely end up with you losing your head.
