Cave of Thrones S8Ep6 Part 6: BONUS SHOTS!

Note: This episode was moved to the "Notes from the ManCave" section of Part 5 over here if you are interested in listening to a lost part of the episode.

Welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!" for what is promised to be the last time. Even in a world where magic thrives, power is everything, and kings and queens battle for control, nothing is certain. And when you play the Game of Reaper, you win or you die.

In this very special bonus episode, you get a chance to peak behind the curtain in the back of the ManCave. CraigMakk, Serious Jest, and (Former) Intern Wacker were having an incredible discussion about the final minutes of the season finale...until they realized they had a Kingslayer of their own hidden in their midst. The (Grim) Reaper betrayed them, and all of Jest's comments were destroyed in a blaze of dragonfire (which means his mic was broken). But the conversations were enlightening enough that we thought it might be enjoyable for you to try and figure it all out for yourself. So take a listen as the three guys discuss retroactive storytelling as a crutch; cower in terror from Grey Worm Unleashed; educate yourself on how to determine who has the best claim in a world where words matter (but not as much as you might hope); pontificate on the nature of honor versus duty and the ramifications thereof; discover who the true villains of Game of Thrones really were; deliberate over successful versus failed redemption arcs; learn alongside the hosts about the true definition of an oligarchy; agonize over the pure and total loss of character agency at the eleventh hour; debate on how to choose political appointees in this antebellum world; laugh alongside some Westerosi jokes; and listen to Serious Jest's brand new voice, courtesy of one monster machine known as the (Grim) Reaper.

The new world order is upon us, and the future of the ManCave doesn't seem to bode well if this is any example. So strap in, grab yourself a beer, and welcome back to a very special (and definitely final) episode of "Cave of Thrones!!!" while you still can.

Cave of Thrones!!! S8Ep6 Part 5: And Now Your Watch Has Ended

Welcome back to the series finale of "Cave of Thrones!!!" You may need some (Cave of) Therapy to get through this one, but don't worry....your boys are here to help you through the final hate-watching.

In this episode, CraigMakk tries his hardest to sound like a legit craft beer connoisseur to impress Jest; Serious Jest practices for his upcoming Netflix comedy special entitled "Dad Jokes Galore!;" plus you'll learn about the all-new GOT spin-off show, "Grumpkin's & Snark's Watch, Alaskan Outpost Edition;" find out what is CraigMakk's favorite "Live from the ManCave!!!" t-shirt of all time; get a deeper understanding of why you may not want to book any travel to Naath anytime soon; hear the guys debate whether or not Brienne got punked in the end or if Jaime deserved his "happy ending;" find out how a showrunner can change popular opinion simply by warging into the audience; get a stern reminder of why Serious Jest despises Sana so much; and much, much more, all while closing the final chapter on the Cave of Thrones series of shows. Oh, and they'll definitely get a little buzzed on some high-quality beers & ciders.

So sit back, grab yourself a beer (and a box of tissues), and welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!" for the final time!

Or this one from Forbes that shows it's really all about making beer drinkers consume beer faster. But some people do tend to see some benefits with certain beers, such as this guy, so who really knows?

Cave of Thrones S8Ep6 Part 4: OH WORD?!?!

Welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!" The night is almost over, the sun is rising, your watch is nearly over, and holy crap, is this a friggin' long episode of the show!!!

In this episode, CraigMakk learns an unfortunate potential misunderstanding regarding his podcast's name 10 years too late; Serious Jest tells you why he likes Skittles so much (SPOILER ALERT!!!: It's not what you think); plus you'll learn why No Doubt's "Don't Speak" should've referred to Tyrion; learn how Grey Worm makes decisions without a wifey to bounce ideas off; hear how good show-runners should know the difference between "the best story of anyone in the land" and "the most boring-ass story of any citizen in a fantasy world;" dive deep into political decision-making that is rarely deeper than "Yay" or "Nay;" relax while you listen to a professor-level lecture on the different types of cannabis available online; all while raising your awareness of some incredible-ass beers. Be careful, though...it's about to get Unsullied up in this piece. So sit back, grab yourself a beer, and welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!"

Beer(s) of the Show:

Serious Scrump Cider (11% ABV)

Broken Goblet Kili Black IPA (5.6% ABV, #285 out of 300 bottles brewed)
