Cave of Thrones Season 6, Episode 5- Hold the GODDAMN Door

Welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!" We loved it so much the first time, we decided to do another special GoT episode. And this time, we convinced CraigMakk to let it out the door without any editing. So don't blame him if you hate it.

This episode was a total mindfuck, so CraigMakk & Serious Jest needed to talk it out. There may or may not have been tears involved...you'll just need to listen for yourself. After the revelation of Hodor's tragic backstory, the half-Navy Seal baller status and half-small town hall meeting status of the Kinsmoot, and the full (for now) extent of Bran's power, you'll probably need a drink too. So come for the recap, stay for the insight, and run from the insanity of Live from the ManCave's newest "Cave of Thrones" special edition!

Cave of Thrones Special Edition: Back in BLACK

Welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!" In this very special edition, the fellas celebrate the most amazing invention of all time: the Internet. And they don't even talk about porn....much.

For the very first time, CraigMakk & Serious Jest utilize the Internet to do a satellite LftMC to discuss and full-spoiler review Game of Thrones, Season 6 Episode 2 moments after it ended. And in an effort to complicate matters even further, they also bring on their first ever remote third mic, "Black" Pedro Hernandez from the world-famous podcast "Black & White with You and Me." Some shit goes down, and we're not just talking about the beer.

As usual, CraigMakk will explain why it's okay to enjoy watching a naked man lay on a table for the better part of an hour; Jest will compare the cast of GoT to our beloved president (Sorry, Obama! He's Peruvian, he can't help it!); and newcomer Black Pedro blows them all away with his discussion about White Walkers and climate change. Trust me...it's as epic as it is insane. So sit back, grab a beer, and welcome back to "Cave of Thrones!!!"

Beer of the Show: Since it was remote, we each chose our own:

CraigMakk: Broken Goblet's Carle the Great Russian Imperial Stout (aged in Glenfiddich Scotch Barrels), a strong and powerful stout fit only for a king...or a drunk.

Serious Jest: Sixpoint Brewery Resin, a powerful hoppy, citrusy, and piney brew, all channeled into one vessel, not unlike our favorite reanimated Westerosi.

Black Pedro: Golden Road Brewing Get Up Offa That Brown, a balanced and drinkable brown ale, one that will allow you to keep your head instead of losing it.

Episode 23 Part Two - The Madness Continues!

Welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!" Just when you thought it was safe to jump back into your brackets...the ManCave will ruin your eardrums with bad jokes and nerdy conversation! Be afraid...be very afraid. There's still a lot more noise where this episode came from.

In this episode, CraigMakk will desperately try to make his irrational love of Batman seem totally normal and acceptable; Jest will do his very best to convince you that he feels bad about mocking death while doing it nonetheless; and the fellas will argue about comic book characters as if they are actually real people waiting patiently by the phone to find out if they won instead of it all being a meaningless discussion between two nerds.

Get ready to enter into the cage match of Round Two in the Superhero/Villain Madness bracket, and not everyone will survive. Perhaps not even you. But the guys also dig deep into other topics such as the various forms of Walking Dead; money-grubbing NBA jerseys; the passing of both a musical icon/lover of all things purple and a terrifying wrestler/terrifying home video porn star; make uninformed and unwanted suggestions on who should play Young Han Solo; and much, much more. All while getting unnecessarily drunk in the middle of the night. And this is just part two. Imagine what the rest sounds like. Or better yet, don't, Trust me. So sit back, grab a drink, and welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: Still more Ommegang Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale, because why change now?

Episode 23 Part One - Superhero ManCave Madness!!!

Welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!": I hope you got a good night's sleep, because our hosts sure didn't. Seriously, they were punchy before they even hit record. Good luck.

In a change of pace, the fellas bring their knowledge of superheroes and movies/TV shows to the table, in a first ever ManCave Madness Bracket! Get ready to listen to the world's best Superheroes and Supervillains battle it out to the DEATH! Or at least just using strongly worded arguments.

During Live from the Theater, CraigMakk reviews Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (no spoilers), while Serious Jest reports on what he thought of CraigMakk's Deadpool recommendation (full spoilers). Boy, do they reallt like Superhero movies, huh? Nerds.

Also in this episode, Serious Jest explains why any superhero who is a former Marine is automatically the best; CraigMakk digs deep into why he wants his heroes with a heaping helping of emotional trauma; and they both argue over whether they are drunk or just plain tired as shit. All the while, they vow never to start recording at 4am ever again. Goddamn you, technology. So sit back, grab a beer, and welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!"

Beer of the Show: Ommegang's Game of Thrones Seven Kingdom's Hoppy Wheat Beer, a citrusy and wheaty ale that will definitely end up with you losing your head.

Episode 22 Part Four - Fear the ManCave!!!

Welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!" In this fourth and FINAL installment (thank Zod) of the episode, we try something brand new, and we hope you like it. And no, it's not that we barely drink, although that is a new one for us also.

In this episode, Jest explains his full knowledge of how to cause someone traumatic brain damage; CraigMakk delves deep into the best way to take out a zombie-Hollywood A-lister; and the boys spoil the shit out of Creed, the Walking Dead season six return, and Fear the Walking Dead's first season. All of this while the Oscars are on in the background and discussing their thoughts live. So strap in, go grab a beer, and welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: Still Walking Dead Blood Orange IPA, no bonus shots for you.

Episode 22 Part Three - Time to make the Chimi-f@#kin'-changas!

Welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!" Yes, this episode is long. And it's not over yet. You're not complaining, are you? Seriously, stop complaining or they'll go away for another year. Unless that's what you want, you bastard.

In Part Three of this Neverending Story (ATREYU!!!), CraigMakk will make sure you know how much he loves men in red spandex; Jest tries to explain his thoughts on incest; and neither of the two of them get all that drunk. Wait......whaaaaat? This must be a different show, right? Maybe you're just listening to StarTalk or some shit by mistake, because they're NEVER sober! I don't even know who they are anymore.

All the while, they review Deadpool and 'It Follows'. So sit back, grab a beer (because they sure didn't), and welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: The Walking Dead Blood Orange IPA, a sweet yet hoppy walk on the wild side.

Episode 22 Part Two - F$@ked by a Bear

Welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!" Get ready for the pain to continue as our monstrously long episode continues with part two. And as the title so subtly implies, prepare to get fucked by a bear. Seriously, is there any easier path to an Oscar than to be mauled to shit by a goddamn bear? Leo sure doesn't think so.

In this episode, Jest will explain why grunting and groaning is acting at its finest in his eyes; Makk will pontificate on whether child-murder qualifies you as "the bad guy"; and both Artisanal Salt and Pepper continue to wonder what the hell kind of lunacy they've gotten themselves into. Plus the guys drink a lot more beer while they discuss The Revenant, The Big Short, and relentlessly make fun of one another. So sit back, grab a beer, and welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: Still Southern Tier Krampus, an Imperial Helles Lager that will have you end the night making bad decisions just like the little bastard on the label.

Episode Twenty-Two Part One - The Dark Side of the Cave

Welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!" You may have heard of this little indie movie called "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." If not, probably turn back now, because we're going to spoil the SHIT out of that movie. Also, lightsabers. We just like talking about them, because they're AWESOME.

In this part one of an epic night of movie talk, CraigMakk and Serious Jest welcome a few new friends into the ManCave to really dig into what makes the Force click. In this episode, CraigMakk will explain how best to pull off Star Wars clothing (hint: it involves layering it on!); Jest confides to the guys that good parenting always comes from the Dark Side; and you'll meet Artisanal Salt & Artisanal Pepper for the first time, with one helluva twist there that you absolutely won't see coming!

Throughout it all, the guys will grab a few drinks and get really deep about how Star Wars has impacted their lives and those to come. So sit back, grab a beer, and welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Episode 21 - The One with the Drunk Santas

Welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!" Merry Christmas! This is their favorite time of year...a holiday where everyone drinks, so you can hide your raging alcohol problem!

In this episode, CraigMakk reminds you that you're never too old to love a man in tights, Jest sexually fixates on Russian weightlifters (it'll get uncomfortable, just a warning), and they both offer some great gift opportunities if you happen to have thousands of dollars on hand and donating to charity ain't your thing.

Also, their holiday celebration just might bring about the implosion of the ManCave. At least according to CraigMakk, BOY, does he sound annoyed. So sit back, grab a winter warmer, and welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: Port Brewing's "Santa's Little Helper", a Russian Imperial Stout with an emphasis on dark cocoa and roasted coffee aromatics....because Santa's going to need all the help he can get with these two.
