Episode Four - Bonus Features

In Episode Four, we discuss quite a bit of death. Yeah, not really all that uplifting, so we left it out of the description, but feel compelled to include some of the relevant links here. Take a look at the official "We Love You, Smokin' Joe" site, as well as the the Heavy D Wiki. Finally, you can reach out and share your love and condolences to Patrice O'Neal's family by clicking here

On to less depressing topics, click here if you are interested in checking out Louis CK's wildly successful (it made $1 million in 12 days!!) Live at the Beacon show. Trust us, it's worth it.

Interested in checking out a difficult to understand, leaked version of the "Dark Knight Rises" Prologue video? Look no further and click here, and we dare you to figure out what the hell Bane is saying. First the crazy Batman voice from TDK now this? Apparently Nolan does not want us to understand his characters!

Bane, we can't hear you, please speak up...

Oh, if you want to hear that horrible, mind-numbing "Live from the ManCave!!!" beat that Jest loves so  much, you can check it out right here, but why the hell would you want to subject yourself to that??

We get into quite a bit of discussion around Equilibrium this month, so we thought it might be a good idea to include some links to broaden your enjoyment. Click on the Equilbrium Fansite to check out many interesting  topics, including FAQs broken out into sub-sections so you can search by area of interest; trivia about the movie; links to pages delving into the art of Gun Kata; fan-written fiction, and much more.

Episode Three - The (Movie) Draft

Welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!" As we struggle to finally get our crap together and get the show out in a timely manner, we still feel pretty confident that this episode is jam-packed with podcast gold. At least we like to tell ourselves that. Let us down easy, alright?

In this episode, Serious Jest explains how kids playing in a sandbox "moves" him; CraigMakk finds more ways to remind you why women ruin movies; and the guys invite a couple of "special guests" into the studio for a podcast-first ever Mega Fantasy Movie Draft and hilarity ensues! Get excited, bro.

Thanks to Wacker and Ms. Special Guest for making us look good, and bringing a bit of their own special brand of humor at the same time....when they remembered to turn the mics on.

And with all of the insanity and excitement, you will still get to hear the guys tell some amazing stories, talk about some movies you may or may not have seen before, and drink a whole lot. Although they sound like AA members compared to Makk's last episode, which is nice. So sit back, grab a drink, and welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: A quality beer called Six Point Bengali Tiger IPA...welcome back to the Quality Beer Show, people.

Episode Two - The Black-Out

Welcome to "Live from the ManCave!" With only a few ancient episodes left, we do our best to bring you another high-quality show with tons of laughs mixed with education. We also fail miserably in that attempt, and are left with the episode you are about to hear.

In this episode, the guys imagine Jest as a leash-wearing bear; Chewie supports the right of men everywhere to proudly display their banana hammock; and CraigMakk makes the miraculous full-circle transition from sober to BOMBED back to completely sober again...all in one episode.

Thank God we brought in a live studio audience to cover it all up and make it sound semi-legitimate. But then God makes us pay for our sins by pulling the power and leaving us in a blackout...in more ways than one.

And throughout all the trials and tribulations, you will hear the guys talk about some reasonably interesting stories, tell some terrifying personal stories, and drink quite a bit....especially that CraigMakk drunk. Which is to say this is just par for the course in ManCave Studios. So sit back, grab a drink, and welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: Bud Light Lime...yes, I am as angry and just plain disappointed as you were when you read that. I apologize for that

Episode Two: Bonus Features

In Episode Two, we talk about Ultimate Spider-Man and the Ultimate Universe in general. You can find out more about the entire run of comics here, and you can check out some images from "Death of Spider-Man" and see if it is your cup of tea.

We also discuss the UFC 133 Hallman vs Ebersole fight, known as "Night of the Banana Hammock." Take a look here to see video of the actual fight itself, including Dennis Hallman's terrifying mankini bottoms. If you want to see the Dana White post-fight interview, click here. See what you think about the outfit, then decide if you think Dana was justified or not with his "get those horrifying shorts off TV as soon as possible" bonus.

One of our favorite sites of all time, Grantland.com, did an article on the new Tribe Called Quest movie that lead to an entire bit on military movies. Check the site out regularly, as we often steal all our best ideas from it. Just don't hold it against us, please. We're just not as funny, creative, intelligent, famous, well-rounded, or rich as those guys. But we do have a pretty sweet ManCave, so we got that going for us, which is nice.

Episode One-The Fellowship of he Cave (Part Two)

Welcome back to "Live from the ManCave!!!" We are proud to present to you the incredible conclusion of this very special episode. And again, remember, special really just means long. And by now, you're really starting to understand what long means.

In this episode, Jest describes in great detail his fascination with movies involving boxing one's balls like a speedbag; Chewie professes his hatred for movies that remind him how dumb he really is; and CraigMakk explains why Superman really is the most terrifying supervillain of ALL TIME. Be afraid...be very afraid.

Throughout it all, the guys will enlighten you on the prospects of time travel, teach you a thing or two about mortgages, and point you in the right direction for the next time you plan a high-security prison break. Oh, and they talk about some movies while they are at it. And drink even more than last time....I know, I know, why even bother writing that part anymore, right? So sit back, grab a drink, and welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: Still Firestone Walker Double Jack IPA...finally, a good beer, mostly because the only one who actually likes good beer got to pick. Enjoy it, while you can.

Episode One, Part Two: Bonus Features

In Part Two of Episode One, we spend an inordinate amount of time discussing CraigMakk's "Watch that $#*%!" selection, "Primer." As per our discussion, we are including a number of links to improve your viewing pleasure of this incredibly mind-bending movie.Take a look at the following links prior to or during the movie, and you will feel yourself growing smarter by the minute (Note: The ManCave cannot make claims on your intelligence levels, either before or after clicking on said links. It is clearly a marketing ploy, and not a measurable clinical claim.)

Episode One-The Fellowship of the Cave (Part One)

Welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!" We continue to dig (way) back and pull some episodes from our backlog for you to enjoy. This one was so epic, we had to split it up and give it it's own sequel right off the bat. And when we say epic, we mean.....well, we mean long. So strap in, kids, and get ready for DOUBLE the funny!

In this opening salvo, Jest gets to dazzle you with both his legal knowledge AND his "sexy voice"; Chewie reminds you why you never want your Grandmother to go to the Shore alone again; and CraigMakk learns the hard way that just because you call someone a friend doesn't mean they won't try to embarrass you in front of the entire Internet world.

And in all this insanity, the guys are able to update you on some potentially interesting stories, tell you some horrendous stories, and drink....a lot. Sounds like another successful show to me. So sit back, grab a drink, and welcome to "Live from the ManCave!!!"

Beer of the Show: Firestone Walker Double Jack IPA...finally, a good beer, mostly because the only one who actually likes good beer got to pick. Enjoy it, while you can.

Episode One, Part One: Bonus Features

In Part One of Episode One, we talk about the Inside Experience and whether or not crowd-sourcing a movie sounds like a good idea. Check out some of the final touches here, which we'll talk more about on a future episode. Yes, sometimes posting vintage episodes means we'll be a bit behind, but at least we HAVE our own podcast.....what are YOU doing with all your free time??

Check out these various links to watch the Casey Anthony Verdict, or this timeline of events from the entire case. This will help refresh your memory on this tiny little case you may have missed so you can be a part of our in-depth legal discussion....don't we seem more intelligent and interesting now?

That's just her mug shot...imagine how much better she looks
now that she's not afraid of going to jail for murdering her kid???

And for all you Jarheads, here's a link to the videos of both the douchebag who asked Mila to the Ball and the terrifying female who responded by asking JT. Trust us, they are worth watching for entertainment value alone....not that we condone laughing at someone who puts their life on the line for our freedom to do this podcast. Okay, yes we do, but at least salute the screen while you do.
