Episode 7 - Bonus Features

In Episode Seven, we unveil our newest invention: the ManCave MovieNight! This wonderful creation allows us to focus an entire episode on our World-Famous "Watch That Shit!" segment, essentially becoming a full "spoilercast". This will allow you to control how you spoil movies for yourself. Or go back and watch the movies and catch up on the MovieNights without getting behind on our even MORE World-Famous LFtMC Episodes! Or just skip them because you don't care. Whatever, we don't care, as long as you subscribe to our show. If we learned anything from Nielsen ratings, it's that if you stick your head in the sand and pretend you don't worry about changes likes "the Internet" and "people's tastes" and "watching habits," you can stay in business forever.

So anyway, in this episode we do a spoiler-free review of Chronicle for you, in case you want to see that in the theater. We also get pretty spoil-heavy on "Horrible Bosses" and "The Adjustment Bureau," so make sure you've either seen them or don't care. Because we'll spoil it. We'll do it. Seriously, we don't care. We're crazy like that.

Lucky for you, there's not a whole lot you need to know for this brand-new episode, the ManCave MovieNight. So simply enjoy some Abita S.O.S. Pilsner, and let us know what you think at Podcast@LiveManCave.com!

Episode Six - Bonus Features

In Episode Six, we ring in the New Year ManCave-style! First off, we do a bunch of ManCave Resolutions while drinking the official "ManCave Champagne of the Show," called Zardetto Prosecco. It's pretty terrible. Please, don't blame us. Blame Tim. He sucks at his job.

Next, we kick off our first-ever "ManCave Awards Show!" If you like the lead-in song, here's some more info. They are called Karmin, and you can follow them on Twitter at @KarminMusic. They have a bunch of songs and links you can check out. Let us know what you think at Podcast@LiveManCave.com.

He really does love him.

Now back to the Awards Show. As you will see, we  circle back to many of our Award-winners with some well-placed clips for your enjoyment. One of those clips is an incredible remix of Charlie Sheen's interview, which you can find a link to here and even download for free. We also cannot recommend Wilfred enough. How awesome does this look?

(App) 79 mins
(R) 84 mins
Our Movie Review segment includes a full-spoiler discussion on "Quicksand" and "Rare Exports", which is probably the first time you've ever heard of either. For your information, "Quicksand" is a 1950 film noir, and "Rare Exports" is a brand new Christmas classic. Check them out first, then listen to our review and discussion in Episode Six.

Let us know what you think at Podcast@LiveManCave.com. Seriously, we want to know!

You can join the fight here.
Oh, and for the high-brow intelligent types among our listeners, to find out more about SOPA and PIPA, as well as the multinational ACTA, take a look here. Are we right to be afraid? We think so. But maybe we're just paranoid drunks. It's very possible.

Episode Four - Bonus Features

In Episode Four, we discuss quite a bit of death. Yeah, not really all that uplifting, so we left it out of the description, but feel compelled to include some of the relevant links here. Take a look at the official "We Love You, Smokin' Joe" site, as well as the the Heavy D Wiki. Finally, you can reach out and share your love and condolences to Patrice O'Neal's family by clicking here

On to less depressing topics, click here if you are interested in checking out Louis CK's wildly successful (it made $1 million in 12 days!!) Live at the Beacon show. Trust us, it's worth it.

Interested in checking out a difficult to understand, leaked version of the "Dark Knight Rises" Prologue video? Look no further and click here, and we dare you to figure out what the hell Bane is saying. First the crazy Batman voice from TDK now this? Apparently Nolan does not want us to understand his characters!

Bane, we can't hear you, please speak up...

Oh, if you want to hear that horrible, mind-numbing "Live from the ManCave!!!" beat that Jest loves so  much, you can check it out right here, but why the hell would you want to subject yourself to that??

We get into quite a bit of discussion around Equilibrium this month, so we thought it might be a good idea to include some links to broaden your enjoyment. Click on the Equilbrium Fansite to check out many interesting  topics, including FAQs broken out into sub-sections so you can search by area of interest; trivia about the movie; links to pages delving into the art of Gun Kata; fan-written fiction, and much more.

Episode Two: Bonus Features

In Episode Two, we talk about Ultimate Spider-Man and the Ultimate Universe in general. You can find out more about the entire run of comics here, and you can check out some images from "Death of Spider-Man" and see if it is your cup of tea.

We also discuss the UFC 133 Hallman vs Ebersole fight, known as "Night of the Banana Hammock." Take a look here to see video of the actual fight itself, including Dennis Hallman's terrifying mankini bottoms. If you want to see the Dana White post-fight interview, click here. See what you think about the outfit, then decide if you think Dana was justified or not with his "get those horrifying shorts off TV as soon as possible" bonus.

One of our favorite sites of all time, Grantland.com, did an article on the new Tribe Called Quest movie that lead to an entire bit on military movies. Check the site out regularly, as we often steal all our best ideas from it. Just don't hold it against us, please. We're just not as funny, creative, intelligent, famous, well-rounded, or rich as those guys. But we do have a pretty sweet ManCave, so we got that going for us, which is nice.

Episode One, Part Two: Bonus Features

In Part Two of Episode One, we spend an inordinate amount of time discussing CraigMakk's "Watch that $#*%!" selection, "Primer." As per our discussion, we are including a number of links to improve your viewing pleasure of this incredibly mind-bending movie.Take a look at the following links prior to or during the movie, and you will feel yourself growing smarter by the minute (Note: The ManCave cannot make claims on your intelligence levels, either before or after clicking on said links. It is clearly a marketing ploy, and not a measurable clinical claim.)

Episode One, Part One: Bonus Features

In Part One of Episode One, we talk about the Inside Experience and whether or not crowd-sourcing a movie sounds like a good idea. Check out some of the final touches here, which we'll talk more about on a future episode. Yes, sometimes posting vintage episodes means we'll be a bit behind, but at least we HAVE our own podcast.....what are YOU doing with all your free time??

Check out these various links to watch the Casey Anthony Verdict, or this timeline of events from the entire case. This will help refresh your memory on this tiny little case you may have missed so you can be a part of our in-depth legal discussion....don't we seem more intelligent and interesting now?

That's just her mug shot...imagine how much better she looks
now that she's not afraid of going to jail for murdering her kid???

And for all you Jarheads, here's a link to the videos of both the douchebag who asked Mila to the Ball and the terrifying female who responded by asking JT. Trust us, they are worth watching for entertainment value alone....not that we condone laughing at someone who puts their life on the line for our freedom to do this podcast. Okay, yes we do, but at least salute the screen while you do.

Episode Beta: Bonus Features

In this episode, we talk about these two Rampage Jackson clips, one where he dry humps a reporter and one where he motorboats ANOTHER reporter. Apparently he is deeply committed to his trade. In the spirit of Rampage's skills, we're throwing in this Rampage Highlight Reel...now you know why neither woman fought back.

Don't forget, if you haven't seen this yet (and if you haven't, we'll notify your next of kin that you are clearly dead), here's the link to LeBron's post-game comments that started all the insanity. 'Nuff said about that.

We honestly have no idea what he could possibly
be giving the thumbs up to in this picture...

Friends don't let friends in glass houses throw rocks.

OH

MY

GOD!!

Oh, and check this video out to see why Jest loves talking about fingering elephants so much, and why we we just can't stop saying this scientist's name. Yes, the story may be old, but did YOU honestly know anything about it?? Right...we didn't think so. Enjoy Episode Beta!
